Eligibility: Postgraduates in any branch of science, as well as to postgraduates in Mass Communication/Journalism, aspiring to contribute scientific content to print media in India.

Minimum requirements for participation:

Ability to understand and speak English, the language of the workshop.

Demonstrable ability to write in English or in any other Indian language would be an advantage.

The workshop in IISER TVM will have special preference to people interested in writing science in Tamil and Malayalam whereas the one in IISER Pune will entertain those who are interested in writing in Hindi and Marathi.

The workshop will have lectures, presentations, discussions, role-plays, demonstrations, hands-on practice, feedback, mentoring and highly interactive sessions.

The focus will be on work done as individuals and in teams.

Maximum number of participants for the workshop is limited.

The workshop is compulsorily residential. Boarding and lodging free for selected candidates.

Re-imbursement of the cost of travel by 2nd AC train fare, only for deserving candidates.

No registration fee.

Reporting time: 8.30 A.M. (on 25-07-17) and 9.30 A.M (on 26-07-17)

Instructions:
1. Applications will be entertained strictly between 8.30 A.M and 9.30AM on 25-07-2017 only.
2. All the above engagement is temporary / contractual & carries no other allowances.
3. The Walk-in-interview will be held as detailed above at this Institute.
4. This temporary contractual appointment is a specific period and co-terminus with the project or even
before on the discretion of the Competent Authority. The Young Professionals will have no right to
claim any employment or engagement in CICR/ICAR.
5. The eligible candidates can attend the interview only when they fulfill the essential qualification as
well as the desired qualification.
6. The candidates should bring with them the original certificates and photocopy of all the
certificates for verification in support of Age, Qualifications, Experience, Caste, Employment
Exchange Registration Card and one Passport size photograph to be enclosed with the
application while appearing for Walk in Interview. (The application being enclosed below
which may be downloaded from the website and the application completed in all respects only
will be strictly entertained)
7. Since the above position do not have status of regular employment, they are not entitled for any
regular leave except 8 days CL & 2 days RH (Proportionately)/financial Year, maternity / paternity
leave as applicable.
8. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Walk-in-Interview.
9. The Director, ICAR-CICR, Nagpur reserves the right to fill up or not to fill any vacancy notified in
this advertisement.
10. There will be one hour written test on the date of Walk in-Interview.
11. Candidates without Provisional M.Sc/UG degree certificates from the concerned University will not
be eligible for Walk in Interview.
12. Age Limit: 21-45 years as on the date of interview. Relaxable in the case of SC/ST/OBC & other
exempted categories of candidates as per rules.
